Best head lamp on the market hands down!! I work on pcs and use the other for the kids walking the dog at night. We absolutely love them and we had tried others.
Very Durable March 10, 2007
These have lasted much longer than I ever expected with my two boys. They throw them, hit things with them, drop them etc. and they are still going strong. The spares I purchased haven't even been taken out of their packages. Excellent.
 Great unit, but main light does get dim February 24, 2007
This has been a very handy light at night for hands-free farm work, however the main light is dim and I am looking for a replacement bulb. Not sure if I can get one.

I actually bought this at Lowes one day after reading a few reviews on the internet. What a great purchase. It doesn't have "light up a room" power, but does everything it was made to do. Great for reading at night when you don't want to disturb others. Great for camping as well. I love it for working on my house doing wiring, etc. Keeps my hands free and fits pretty well.
Battery life is great if you don't use the Krypton bulb. I am on my second set of batteries. First set lasted 3-4 months with moderate use and the second set has been in since May and still going. Although I have used it less over the summer since it was tucked away in my tool bag for awhile. All in all a great product that works well. I highly recommend.

Very good price, option of different types of lights; including one for dark and hands free operation; don't you think it makes for very good emergency light?
Even battery pack is modular, so it is easy to remove when not in use.
