 the rod is a bit weak July 12, 2008
I bought this combo kit about 8 months ago. Works fine but the first time I used it, the end (tip) of the rod broke, but it's still very usable. Hey, you get what you pay for. I just wanted something very small and basic to go fishing with. It's still functioning fine and it serves its' purpose.

I would like to be able to review this product, however it has been a month and a half since I ordered it and have yet to receive it. I can say that I will never place an order again with Fishboy since there customer service and communication with there customers is pathetic. If I were Amazon I would no longer deal with this company.

What good is a fishing rod if you forgot it at home? This convenient compact fishing outfit makes it easy to bring along backpacking (it can attach to your backpack or belt), camping, on plan trips. I keep one under my car seat in case I see some rises while driving along. Makes a great gift for fishermen!
